Select "Windows Media Player" in the Select Download box.
Select the latest version of Windows Media Player for your operating system in the Select Version box. When prompted, click "Save" and download the Windows Media Player updating file to your desktop.

However, be warned that it’s not the best media player for Windows. Some versions of Windows 10 don’t have Windows Media Player pre-installed due to legal rulings against Microsoft.
First note that resetting the library will make you lose all current play counts, and possibly ratings too.
